Oh and what a Christmas it has been! My very first! I did everything I was supposed to, and a few things I was warned not to! Just don't be telling me mum about that! *pirate smile*

Christmas Eve there was a grand celebration at the house. I've never seen so many people in here before. We played games, drank some rum, and watched for this "Santa Clause"!

Lots of food for me to munch on!

Now, I've been a bit sceptical all year about this Clause person, so I stayed up to the wee hours of the morning just to catch a glimpse. However, the rum was catchin' up to me, and I fell asleep at me post. I'm not ever sure if he came or not, but when I woke up, there was a present with me name on it under the tree!! Some timber for me ship!! What more can a pirate ask for?

That big present is MINE!

Alright mates...

Last night I was dragged to some sort of Midnight Madness shopping! I ask you...What is going on here? I don't ever remember agreein' to such a thing! Nor did I expect to find me self strapped into some sort of Children's seat.

Oh, the girls had a good laugh at Cap'n Little Jack. But I.... I is not laughing matey! Just look what they done to me! Does anyone else have this problem?

Needless to say, I stayed in the car whilst they hurried about. I don't think I shall be doing this again. At least I good some good turkey out of it!

RAKING up is hard to do!

What started out as a great beginning to me weekend....has now turned to tears! At least they're not my tears! *chuckle* (Hey don't roll yer eyes! I am a pirate afterall)

I had me first experience with a Wisconsin fall cleanup. I wouldn't wish this upon any of me worst enemies! It be a tough job to rake all those leaves!

I can't say as I was much help to me mum. I started out with good intentions.....well as good as a pirate's intentions are...but I was too tired to continue!

Then.....as she was raking away.....BOOM! A tree fell on her car! That's right...the infamous Mini Cooper has suffered a most horrific blow! It took the side mirror almost completely off....it DID manage to take off the antena.....and scratch and dent the poor car all over! She was in tears! Now she knows how I feel about me ship! (Well when I get me ship anyway)

I decided to take a look at the damage. There was nothing I could do....except laugh. (Which I was most horribly and unjustly repremanded fer)

Can you see the dents?

Perhaps it is fate...or some other good fortune that this happened. Now I have timber to use for me ship!

Hello my bloggin' mates! I've been laying low...trying to work on me ship! However, I find it very hard to do so when my mum is listening to things like this!

Well, I've almost made it through me first week at my new home. T'was tough to do, but I did it. I've been working on me ship, and it's comin' along nicely. I also got to visit me mum's work, and unfortunatley got my cheeks pinched by all those salty wenches at the front desk! I don't mind much though....after all...who can resist a suave - swaggering pirate like myself?! She packed a great lunch, and I have fallen for a sandwich called Bologna! Whoever thought up this type of meat should be given a chest full of treasure!

I don't think that I need a lunchbox, but my mum disagrees. (Said I could not eat at this "McDonald's" I'd been hearing so much about.)

Ah...the sweet taste of goldfish crackers, and Bologna sandwiches!

Lunch was delicious at work, but do you really have to smother me in front of everyone?

Now, on to my favorite part of my week so far. I got to meet my mum's friend, Auntie Robbi! What a character she is! She'd make one heck of a pirate! Perhaps I should ask her to join me crew?

Arrrgg! Speak with you later mateys! I'm off to find my flag!

Arrrgggg...what a mighty day I've had! Halloween be my favorite time of year. I helped me new mum put up our decorations.....well most of them anyway. It seems that we've run aground on finding the "Dead Man's Chest" !!

However, it was not all fun and games for me today. I had to teach Lolita a thing or two, after she tried to take me treasure!

I'm gettin' to work on me ship, and rounding up as many crew members as I can. I am not sure that I like the looks of these scallywags though!

Here's a look at what I've done today! Next stop.....a well deserved drink of rum!

Captain Little Jack's First Day home!

Little Jack is settling in nicely. He has made peace with the dogs, despite a few attempts on his life. He has pronounced himself "Captain", and has taken over part of the upstairs. He is working on hard on his ship, and has yet to name her. I will however have to speak with him about the nessecity to always leave the toilet seat up.
